Microstock Photography for a living

Want to do Microstock Photography for a living? Here is a guy (Not an Affiliate) that is young and he must be pretty darn smart (I hate him) and is the most successful stock photographer Ive ever seen. The interesting thing is that he will tell you how to do the same for free.

His website is filled with free information and video tours of his huge studio and he doesn't try to sell you anything. He sells an amazing number of photographs on the microstock sites. Thats not an affiliate link but if you don't mind paying a little for training then this one is.

One of the photographs in demand is photos of people. All kinds of people doing things in life with a honest natural look and feel to them. Photographers have a hard time with this kind of photo because of the need for signed model releases for every person in the picture that can be identified.

Many tjimes after walking for miles for a good picture I often find the best photo when I return is right next to my car. The only problem being that I've parked right in the middle of the view.

The best light will happen when you are stuck in traffic or leave your camera at home.

I think it helps to use a small camera to shoot people. Who the heck wants a paparazzi style camera staring at them? I will review two new small cannon cameras soon.

Most photographers are shy or afraid to ask strangers to sign these scary looking forms and who can blame them. It doesn't matter how hard it is the darn thing must be signed and the laws aren't your fault, so get the model release in their face and get it signed. Promise them a photo or something.

It's amazing how many young photographers are earning a good living online with their own websites and products. Many learn both the business side and the Photography skils from the better instruction compaines that teach methods that would have been imposable a few short years ago.

Use a tripod or a faster ISO to increse sharpness in your pictures.

Most or all Famous microstock Photographers I knew were not only workaholics but a little too brave if you ask me with their airplanes and travel to dangerous places. Most of the Famous Photographers I love so much have passed on in the last few years. Ansel Adams was a very nice man and so darn smart. I talked to him only on the phone.

Never met most of the others but read their books. They get real sucessful and the first thing they do is buy a stupid airplane. Im sorry but it hurts me a lot to see them go. Such wonderful talent gone in a darn stupid plane crash. I was camping nearby when

Money Note Advice:
In case you didn't know, if you find a way to make money on the net or anyplace for that matter, you can make 1000 times as much telling others how to make money the same as you do. Provided of course you have a way to explain how you do it to people so they can do it also. Like an ebook or record yourself on a DVD and sell it on eBay.

I know, it's kinda a never ending story telling others how to make money by teaching others how to make money but that's the way it is.
